Frequently Asked Questions

AKOLEWA is a non-profit non-governmental organization that supports widows, orphans, and vulnerable families. We work in education, health, economic development, and social protection.

Our mission is to restore hope, dignity and autonomy to widows and orphans through sustainable projects: education, training, health and social entrepreneurship.

We mainly operate in Côte d’Ivoire and other African countries, and collaborate with international partners to support projects around the world.

You can donate online through our secure platform, by bank transfer, by Mobile Money (Wave, Orange Money, Moov Money), or directly at our offices. Every donation helps change lives.

Yes. Sponsoring orphans is one of our core programs. You can fund education, nutrition or health for a child. You will then receive regular updates about your sponsored child.

Transparency is at the heart of our commitment. Donations are used to finance humanitarian projects, provide direct aid, and cover minimal logistics costs. An annual transparency report is published for donors and partners.

It’s simple: fill out the membership or volunteer form on our website. Our team will contact you for a brief orientation and offer missions based on your skills and availability.

Together, let’s grow solidarity!
